What is a pre-soaped compressed washcloth?

Messy Nessie is a dry, pre-soaped compressed washcloth that expands with water into a full-size soapy washcloth. Each one stays compact and individually wrapped until you are ready to use it. Just add water, let it expand, unfold it, and work up a lather.

Each Messy Nessie washcloth is made from 100% viscose rayon, a soft, absorbent cellulose fiber derived from wood pulp, and comes with unscented, plant-based Castile soap already included.

Use it in the shower, at the sink, or anywhere you have access to water. And when there is no shower or sink around, Messy Nessie gives you a simple way to wash up with just a little water.

It is perfect for camping, travel, the gym, festivals, sports, road trips, outdoor work, and anywhere else you need to get clean. Because the soap is already built in, there is no need to carry a separate bottle of body wash or a bulky washcloth.

When you’re done, simply rinse and dispose of it. No wet washcloth to pack, store, or bring home to wash.

Its compact size makes Messy Nessie easy to keep in camping gear, a carry-on, gym bag, glove box, sports kit, festival bag, or emergency hygiene kit. Whether you are taking a full shower or just cleaning up on the go, all you need is water.

How is it different from an ordinary wet wipe?

A wet wipe is stored damp and is designed mainly for wiping. Messy Nessie stays dry until you add water, then expands into a 9.5 × 12 in (24 × 30 cm) disposable soapy washcloth that lathers and rinses.

It gives you the familiar experience of washing with a washcloth and soap in a compact, portable, single-use format. Use clean water whenever possible, wash as you normally would, rinse, and dispose of the used washcloth responsibly.
